Pipe Prep Technician PM ShiftPay:Starting at $18.00 per hour(DOE)Location:Tulsa, OK 74107Shift:Monday Friday | 4: 00 PM 2: 30 AMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:126266Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable Pipe Prep Technician to join a growing fabrication team in Tulsa on the second shift. This position is responsible for preparing pipe materials for production by grinding, beveling, and cleaning pipe surfaces while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in preparing materials that meet production specifications.Required Experience & Skills Ability to safely use hand and power grinding tools Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and punctuality Previous industrial, fabrication, or manufacturing experience is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a teamEssential Duties & Responsibilities Grind paint and coatings from pipe surfaces in preparation for fabrication and welding Bevel pipe ends according to production specifications Prepare pipe materials for downstream production processes Inspect prepared materials to ensure they meet quality standards Safely operate grinders, beveling equipment, and other hand and power tools Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements Assist with additional fabrication and material handling duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications Previous pipe preparation or metal fabrication experience Experience using industrial grinding and beveling equipment Familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn additional fabrication skillsPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift Ability to safely operate hand and power tools while wearing required PPE Comfortable working around heavy steel, grinding equipment, sparks, and industrial machineryWork Environment Heavy industrial manufacturing and pipe fabrication facility Exposure to grinders, beveling equipment, steel materials, noise, sparks, and metal dust Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity Opportunity to gain valuable fabrication experience in a skilled manufacturing settingWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay based on experience Stable Monday Friday second-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay options available Excellent opportunity to build skills in industrial fabrication and manufacturing while working with an experienced teamReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
