Pipe Welder

Pay: $24.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

Job Overview Sparta Networking is seeking experienced Pipe Welders to support shipbuilding and marine production operations in Pascagoula, Mississippi. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale commercial and defense-related vessel projects in a fast-paced shipyard environment. The ideal candidate will have pipe welding experience, strong attention to quality, and the ability to work safely in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding using approved welding procedures and specifications
• Weld pipe joints and assemblies in various positions
• Prepare, align, and fit piping components prior to welding
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work area
• Follow all shipyard safety and quality requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous pipe welding experience required
• Ability to pass a welding test or maintain required certifications
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 40 pounds or more
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• U.S. citizenship required
