This position is responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding and pipe fabrication on structural pipe applications while ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.The ideal candidate is a certified structural pipe welder with strong fitting experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to producing quality welds.Required Experience & Skills Current Structural Pipe Welding certification required (must provide certification) Minimum of 2 years of pipe fitting experience Experience with MIG pipe welding Ability to perform structural pipe fabrication and welding tasks accurately Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and dependable transportationEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on structural pipe applications Complete pipe fabrication and fitting according to project specifications Perform solid pipe welding, cap-to-pipe welding, and pipe-to-plate welding Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines Complete assigned work within project timelines while maintaining quality standardsPreferred Qualifications Structural and Pipe Welding certifications Previous industrial or commercial pipe fabrication experience Strong understanding of welding codes and quality requirements Experience working on short-term industrial projectsPhysical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to safely wear required welding PPE for extended periods Comfortable working in an industrial fabrication environmentWork Environment Industrial fabrication and welding facility Fast-paced, safety-focused project environment Exposure to welding equipment, heat, sparks, fumes, and heavy materials Required PPE must be worn at all times in accordance with company safety policiesWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay Immediate project assignment Opportunity to work with a skilled fabrication team Excellent opportunity to showcase your welding abilities Gain experience on a specialized structural pipe welding projectReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
