Senior Project Engineer

Company profile: Since 2018, this woman owned business provides a wide range of services to provide our clients with turnkey solutions for their projects. Pipeline and facility design, regulatory compliance, environmental reviews, permitting, inspection and construction support.

Job Summary:The Senior Project Engineer will lead and guide the entire project/program team, conducting final reviews and developing advanced technical comprehension. This role involves leading client calls and meetings independently and understanding niche or unique concepts and calculations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Team Lead; direct & guide an entire Project/Program Team.

· Apply expert knowledge of code, standards, and client expectations.

· Lead design challenge and conflict resolution.

· Lead and set expectations for design instruction.

· Conduct final reviews, at times acting as final reviewer.

· Independently lead client calls & meetings.

· Demonstrate solutions-driven communication skills.

· Actively develops other team members

· Scope approver, risk assessor, solutions-driven leader.

· Provide workflow directions and estimate allowable hours.

· Provide project status updates & workload reports to client.

· Approve scope, assess risk and provide proactive solutions.

· Track performance metrics/KPIs of Project Team.

· Complete all assignments on time and within allowable hours.

· Demonstrate Shactee's Core Values.

· Promote a culture of Safety.

· Other job-related duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience:

· Skills of Project Engineer II

· Bachelor of Science Engineering field from an ABET accredited university

· Work experience in the Natural Gas Industry as a Design Engineer. Projects should include design work in metering stations, natural gas design projects, including pipelines, regulating facilities, and system pressure improvements.

Required Skills & Abilities:

· Knowledge of niche or unique concepts & calculations

· Understand client's cost estimating procedures and expectations

· Able to work independently and effectively work in a remote setting
