Pizza Cook - Cece's Kitchen
Cece's Roland Park is seeking a talented Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs in a polished Italian restaurant environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a passion for authentic Italian cuisine, extensive knowledge of dough production and fermentation, and experience working with high-temperature pizza ovens. From mixing and maintaining house-made dough to producing well-crafted pizzas during service, you'll play an essential role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, ferment, portion, and maintain pizza dough according to established recipes and specifications.
- Monitor dough hydration, fermentation schedules, proofing, and quality control procedures.
- Stretch, top, and bake pizzas while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards.
- Prepare sauces, proteins, vegetables, and additional ingredients required for daily service.
- Ensure proper product rotation, storage, and inventory management practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with company and health department standards.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
- Demonstrated experience preparing dough from scratch.
- Experience working with a Forno oven or comparable high-temperature pizza oven.
- Thorough understanding of dough fermentation, hydration, proofing, and baking techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Experience in upscale, polished, or fine-dining restaurant environments.
