Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney
About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated attorney to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys advocating for injured clients, taking ownership of a meaningful caseload, and working alongside experienced trial lawyers.
The ideal candidate is driven, client-focused, and eager to maximize case value while preparing matters for trial when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Conduct case evaluations and develop litigation strategy
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Attend hearings and court appearances
- Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process
- Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and support staff to ensure efficient case handling
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience handling depositions and motion practice
- Trial experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload while prioritizing deadlines
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and client service skills
