Job Description

Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal

A well-respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join its team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the plaintiff personal injury case lifecycle and be comfortable managing a substantial caseload from intake through settlement or litigation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, discovery, pleadings, and settlement documentation

  • Obtain and review medical records, bills, insurance information, and other case-related documentation

  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel

  • Track medical treatment, liens, deadlines, appointments, and case developments

  • Prepare settlement demand packages and supporting documentation

  • Assist with negotiations and settlement processing

  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files

  • Coordinate with attorneys and other members of the legal team throughout the case

  • Perform legal research and other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of personal injury claims and litigation procedures

  • Experience handling medical records, bills, insurance claims, and settlement demands

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management software

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service
