This position will work closely with the Club Managers to ensure the team is focused on building a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere, as well as a financially successful club. The Team Lead will specifically be responsible for the oversight of the weekend team.Pay : $17.90 - $18.50

• Maintainawelcomingatmosphereforallmembers,prospectivemembersandguests,and ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Greetmembersandguests,providingexceptionalcustomerservicetoensurethateveryone feels welcome!
• Answerphonesinafriendlymannerandassistcallerswitha varietyof questions.
• Checkmembersintothesystem,providetoursand signupnewmembers,logamenitiesand communicate updates or events to members and guests.
• Facilitateall member requestsandhelptoresolveanymemberissuesand questions.
• Ensurememberfirstimpressionsaretoexpectationinclusiveofthelobby,frontdeskand retail
• Ensurestaffisalways providing exceptional customer service.

oProvidingMemberServiceRepresentativesleadership

• AssistintraininganddevelopingahighperformingstaffconsistingofMemberService Representatives working weekends.

oAlongside Club Managers, assist with drafting and executing Annual Performance Evaluations for weekend staff.

oAssistinsupervisingstafftoensurethatallshiftsare regularlycovered, and staff are adhering to their job responsibilities and assigned task during scheduled shift.

oPartnerwith ClubManagementtoresolveemployeeissuesorconcerns. Draft and presenting progressive disciplinary action, if required.

oWorkwithclubandpropertymanagementteamsandtoensuresafetyandsecurityofthe building.

oExecutenew initiativesand communicateallrelevantdirectivesandtasks.

oProvidebackupsupportasneededforanyemployeewho isabsentforweekendshift.

·Overseeingcleanlinessoftheclub:

oKeepthe frontdeskareaandlobbycleanand orderly.

oOverseealldeepcleaningofclub inclusiveofbothlockerrooms,underequipmentand off-stage areas.

oParticipateinregularfacilitycleaningand clubupkeep suchasmoppingup spills,trash

removal,cleaningwindowsandmirrorsandre-racking weights.

·Completealladministrative responsibilities:

oOrdersuppliesusingthespecificbudgetbasedonclub requirements.

oTrackvariousstatisticsand reportsonaweekly,monthly, andannualbasis.

oConductsignageauditsfrom promotionalsignagetoclub signage.

oClearoutstandingmemberships,billingissuesandmembership issues.

oConduct detailedwalkofclubtoenterorupdateallissuesintotrackingsysteminclusiveof equipment, facilities, and IT.

oCompletequarterly inventory.

oThoroughcommunicationtothedayshifttoensureaneffectivehandoffofprogressand awareness of facility or member escalations that happened overnight.

Otherdutiesasassignedbasedonclubneeds.

Qualifications

• Must have weekend availability
• Must be 18 years of age or older; high school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in a similar gym or retail environment.
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite) and the ability to learn systems quickly.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Strong customer service and problem resolution skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and differing priorities in a constantly changing and demanding environment using excellent organizational, communication, and scheduling skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and the occasional day shift.
• Hard working, enthusiastic, energetic, and a passion for health and fitness!
