Plant Controller (Manufacturing Operations)

Location: On-site (relocation support available)

Join a stable and growing manufacturing operation where finance plays a key role in operational decision-making — not just reporting. This position partners closely with plant leadership and commercial teams to improve cost performance, support strategic initiatives, and help drive profitability across the facility.

You will act as the primary financial business partner to plant operations, translating production activity into meaningful insights leadership can use.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, and operational performance metrics

• Provide pricing, margin, and profitability analysis to business leaders

• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

• Participate in month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory accounting

• Monitor and reconcile plant inventory and cycle counts

• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis

• Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and financial assumptions

• Deliver clear financial reporting and recommendations to operations leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 3+ years of accounting or cost accounting experience (manufacturing environment preferred)

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles

• Experience with cost analysis, inventory, and margin reporting

• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with operational data

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and initiative

• Salary: $93,750 – $125,000 + performance bonus
