Job Description

A highly regarded leader in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a visionary and accomplished leader to oversee engineering operations at one of their premier facilities. Collaborate closely with corporate teams to drive progress in performance, safety, and cost-efficiency while stepping into a prominent and strategic leadership role. You will be an integral member of the senior management team, partnering with the Site Manager to devise and implement comprehensive technical strategies. These strategies will focus on advancing engineering projects and optimizing initiatives in maintenance to foster production efficiency, successful startups, and the enhancement of utilities and maintenance programs.

You’ll manage capital projects aiming to elevate automation, safety, and quality, while reducing costs and enhancing production efficacy and customer service. Maintain oversight of plant utilities such as refrigeration, ammonia, nitrogen, and natural gas, ensuring operational compliance and effectiveness. This position offers an accelerated path for career progression within a globally recognized organization.

The ideal candidate will hold an Engineering Degree with over five years of relevant experience, including three years in food manufacturing environments. A background in plant utility systems and process safety management is crucial, along with proficiency in strategic and budget planning for multi-million dollar ventures. Being a collaborative part of a senior innovation team and experience in continuous improvement is essential.
