Central Stone Company has an immediate full-time opening for 1st Shift Quarry Plant Operator & Maintenance position at our Moscow Mill, MO location. The Plant Operator & Maintenance position is involved with the activities associated with the rock crushing processing plant; includes monitoring, maintaining, and repairing the crushers, conveyors, and vibrating sizing screens. Ideal candidates would be experienced with general manufacturing processes and/or heavy equipment operation and maintenance, but we are happy to train those with the proper mindset and work ethic. This position typically works Monday through Friday - with occasional Saturdays depending on peal season needs.

Plant Operator & Maintenance candidate requirements:

• Safety-Focused
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with general manufacturing processes and/or operating/maintaining heavy equipment.
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic

Plant Operator major responsibilities include:

• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
• While crushing plant is in operation this position, will walk around and observe crushers and conveyors for proper function, perform clean up using manual means along with operating skid steer, perform greasing of bearings, assist fellow crews members with plant mode changes, and perform repairs as needed.
• Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
• Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
• Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
