Job Title: Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator Shift: 2nd Shift ($19/hr) | 3rd Shift ($18/hr) Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating molding machines, performing quality checks, and using precision measuring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plastic injection molding machines safely and efficiently
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure (to 1/16 ), millimeters, and centimeters
- Utilize precision tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and quality checks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and production procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in plastic injection molding or similar manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately (1/16 , metric units)
- Proven experience using calipers and micrometers
- Ability to pass a basic math evaluation
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Capable of climbing, bending, and reaching as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
