Job Description
The Senior Plastics Engineer is responsible for improving and validating manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling. This role focuses on translating customer requirements into capable, repeatable processes while reducing defects and maximizing product quality. Apply statistical methods to drive process capability
Translate customer needs into robust production processes
Plan and execute process and equipment validation runs
Develop project charters, scope, and implementation plans
Act as technical liaison with product development teams
Support design reviews and define equipment specs
Transfer new processes to production operations
Train operators and develop SOPsImplement control plans to sustain process improvements
Drive cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives

Strong knowledge of statistics and process validation
Experience with Six Sigma and RCA tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Experience with Minitab preferred
Knowledge of plastics or textile processes
Strong project management and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
