This position is responsible for operating and maintaining plate rolling equipment used to form steel plates into cylinders, half cylinders, weld pads, and other fabricated components while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.The ideal candidate has experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, can accurately read measurements and blueprints, and takes pride in producing quality work.Required Experience & Skills Minimum 1 year of plate roll operating experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment required High school diploma or GED required Ability to accurately read tape measures, scales, and other measuring devices Experience using powered and manual hand tools Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Operate plate roll equipment and related machinery according to production requirements Roll steel plates into cylinders, half cylinders, weld pads, and other fabricated products Load and position steel plates into rolling equipment to achieve required specifications Work with materials ranging from thin gauge steel up to 1-inch plate Participate in pre-job setup, tool preparation, and post-job cleanup activities Perform routine equipment inspections and assist with preventive maintenance Monitor machine performance and report operational or maintenance concerns Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards Follow production schedules while meeting quality and efficiency goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Assist team members and perform additional duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders Previous heavy fabrication or industrial manufacturing experience Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience working with large steel components and fabrication equipmentPhysical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and material handling Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted using proper lifting techniques Good visual acuity and depth perception for equipment operation and inspections Ability to safely operate machinery while wearing required PPEWork Environment Heavy industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and large industrial equipment Fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality Opportunity to work with large-scale fabrication projects and specialized equipmentWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to work with advanced fabrication equipment Team-oriented manufacturing environment Career growth with a well-established industrial employerReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-576-7117 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel Claremore507 E.
