Job Description

Medical Guardian is a fast-growing digital health and safety company on a mission to help people live a life without limits. With 13 consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Companies, we're redefining what it means to age confidently and independently.

We support over 625,000 members nationwide with life-saving emergency response systems and remote patient monitoring solutions. Trusted by families, healthcare providers, and care managers, our work is powered by a culture of innovation, compassion, and purpose.

About the Role:

We are looking for a technically skilled Platform Administrator – ERP to manage and support our enterprise resource planning systems and the integrations connecting them to the broader business platform ecosystem. This role is central to ensuring the stability, performance, and data integrity of our ERP environment — with a strong emphasis on cross-platform connectivity, API-driven integrations, and database-layer operations.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on ERP administration experience — ideally with SedonaOffice, though comparable platforms are equally valued — combined with strong Microsoft SQL Server skills and a practical understanding of how enterprise systems communicate. Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tooling, and CRM platforms like Salesforce is a meaningful plus.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Administration & Support

  • Own day-to-day administration, configuration, and performance monitoring of the ERP system (SedonaOffice or equivalent).
  • Manage system settings, user access, module configurations, and platform updates.
  • Serve as the primary internal escalation point for ERP-related issues and work directly with vendors for advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Lead vendor relationship management including recurring performance reviews, ticket escalations, and roadmap planning discussions.

Data Integrity & Financial Processes

  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy across the general ledger, subledgers, billing workflows, and transaction records.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of data discrepancies — including revenue mismatches, billing errors, and reconciliation issues — and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes by validating data flows between the ERP and downstream reporting systems.

SQL & Database Management

  • Write and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Optimize query performance and diagnose database-level issues affecting ERP workflows.
  • Manage data integrity across relational structures and enforce access and security controls.

Integrations & System Data Flows

  • Design, monitor, and maintain integrations between the ERP and connected business systems — including Salesforce CRM, financial platforms, document management tools, and third-party APIs — using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware.
  • Ensure data consistency across all connected platforms; proactively identify, debug, and resolve integration failures at the payload, configuration, or database level.
  • Maintain integration diagrams, data flow documentation, and runbooks for all supported connections.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including system configurations, data dictionaries, API connection specs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal staff on ERP features, integrations, and configuration changes.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while maintaining compliance with data integrity and control requirements.
  • Provide after-hours or on-call support during critical system events to maintain uptime and business continuity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field — or 4+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on ERP system administration experience (SedonaOffice preferred; equivalent ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar are strongly considered).
  • Experience designing or maintaining integrations between enterprise systems — including working knowledge of REST or SOAP APIs, webhooks, or middleware/iPaaS tooling (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Zapier, or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret API documentation, debug payload errors, and troubleshoot data flow failures across connected platforms.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) — comfortable writing queries, stored procedures, and diagnosing performance issues.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial processes, including GL structures, journal entries, billing workflows, and reconciliations.
  • Experience managing data integrity across relational database environments and enforcing access/security controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of resolving complex system or data issues.
  • Experience with enterprise ticketing or issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Asana).
  • Ability to work hybrid in Philadelphia, PA (Tuesdays and Wednesdays in office).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with SedonaOffice, including module configuration, reporting, and integration support.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and its integration points with ERP or financial systems.
  • Experience supporting IT leadership with system planning, infrastructure recommendations, and architecture documentation.
  • Exposure to financial reporting automation or accounting data workflow tools.

Work Environment

Full-time role with standard business hours. Occasional after-hours coverage required for critical system events. Minimal travel, limited to vendor meetings or internal business needs.

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Time Off & Holidays)
  • Company Paid Short Term Disability and Life Insurance
  • Retirement Plan (401k) with Company Match
