Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced professional with strong expertise in PLC programming on Siemens platforms and hands-on experience with Siemens OpsCenter MOM applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing manufacturing systems, driving continuous improvement, and leading teams in high-performance environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PLC programs on Siemens platforms (7+ years of experience required).
- Handle Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Requests, and Change Management.
- Drive periodic governance activities and prepare detailed reporting.
- Manage cross-functional teams, ensure effective customer engagement, and facilitate knowledge management.
- Coordinate with manufacturing sites to contextualize and support shop floor operations.
- Ensure SLA and KPI compliance, maintaining high application uptime and availability.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with MES Centers of Excellence (CoE), interface with application teams, and contribute to Digital Manufacturing initiatives.
- Partner closely with product teams to ensure seamless system operations, upgrades, and implementations.
- Engage with customer stakeholders to design solutions based on the Siemens Opcenter MOM platform.
- Conduct techno-functional analysis, assess the impact of changes and new requirements, and propose optimal solutions for complex business challenges.
- Provide technical and product-level guidance on Opcenter applications to team members.
- Execute minor enhancements and changes within the Opcenter DS module.
- Translate solution requirements and collaborate with the development team for implementation.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in PLC programming on Siemens platforms.
- Proficiency in ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Service Request, and Change Management.
- Strong experience in governance, reporting, and SLA/KPI monitoring.
- Proven capabilities in team leadership, customer communication, and operational coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
- Practical experience with Siemens Opcenter MOM platform (including Opcenter DS).
- Ability to deliver technical and functional solutions for manufacturing challenges.
- Experience in solution design, system integration, and collaborative development with technical teams.
