Plex Consultant (Classic To UX)

Plex UX Transition Consultant (Plex Classic to Plex UX) Overview Our client is transitioning from Plex Classic to the Plex UX interface and is seeking an experienced Plex consultant to support the change. This role will focus on functional translation, user enablement, and process validation to ensure a smooth adoption of Plex UX across manufacturing and back-office teams. The consultant will act as a bridge between legacy Plex users and the new UX experience, helping users understand how to perform day-to-day work in the updated interface. This is a consulting role supporting pre-, during-, and post-transition activities. Key Responsibilities Support the migration from Plex Classic screens and workflows to Plex UX Translate existing Plex Classic processes into Plex UX equivalents Guide users on how to perform daily transactions in Plex UX (manufacturing, inventory, quality, finance, etc., based on scope) Identify gaps, usability issues, or process changes introduced by Plex UX and recommend solutions or workarounds Assist with user training, job aids, and walkthroughs tailored to Plex UX Support UAT activities related to Plex UX adoption and usability Partner with IT, operations, and finance teams to validate workflows and ensure business continuity Troubleshoot UX-related issues and escalate system or configuration concerns as needed Provide post-go-live support to stabilize user adoption and confidence Required Experience Strong hands-on experience with Plex ERP in a manufacturing environment Direct experience working with both Plex Classic and Plex UX Functional understanding of manufacturing processes (production, inventory, quality, scheduling, etc.) Ability to explain system changes clearly to non-technical end users Experience supporting user adoption, training, or change management related to ERP systems Comfortable working in a consulting or advisory capacity Preferred Experience Prior experience supporting a Plex UX rollout or transition Experience with UAT support, user training, or process documentation Exposure to finance or accounting modules within Plex is a plus Manufacturing industry background (automotive, industrial, Tier 1/Tier 2 preferred) Engagement Details Consulting engagement (contract / advisory) Duration and hours flexible based on project phase Remote with potential limited onsite support depending on client needs If you are a high performer and would like to work for an equally high for you, we invite you to apply to this job and email your resume to slewis@venteon.com.
