Job Description
Our Journeyman Plumbers are primarily responsible for the repair and installation of a wide range of plumbing systems. We maintain a strong and established customer base, providing commercial and industrial repair and troubleshooting services for facilities including schools, multi-family housing, hotels, police and fire stations, warehouses, food manufacturing and high tech industries. Our projects span the private, public, and federal sectors. As a growing company, we are committed to offering meaningful opportunities for professional growth and advancement to our employees. Our customers are limited to commercial and industrial sectors, we do not perform services in the Residential arena. The majority of our work is in the Portland/Vancouver area although we do travel to other areas of Washington and Oregon at times.JRT operates around Four Core Values:

Job Description:
- Read blueprints and other technical digital documents to asses repair needs
- Work with owners/contractors to assess client needs and plan plumbing layout
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
- Measure and modify pipes accordingly by cutting, threading, or bending pipes by using specialized tools
- Install and/or repair appliances like dishwashers, water heaters, toilets, sinks, etc.
- Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issues
- Repair or replace damaged parts
- Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs
- Train new apprentices in proper plumbing techniques and practices
- Confirm pipe system is air/watertight by performing pressure tests
- Keep detailed notes and create work reports documenting projects
- Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper functioning
- Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes
