Description:

G-Net Construction is hiring a full-time Plumber Helper to assist with commercial construction, interior renovation, and facility maintenance work across NYC. This is a hands-on support position for someone with basic plumbing experience who wants to continue learning the trade.

This role is best suited for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, works neatly, and can follow direction from lead plumbers and field supervisors.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead plumbers with plumbing installations and repairs
Help install and repair water lines, drainage, fixtures, and related piping
Carry tools, materials, and equipment as needed
Assist with kitchens, bathrooms, mechanical spaces, and commercial interiors
Help open and patch walls, ceilings, and floors as directed
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
Load, unload, and move plumbing materials and supplies
Follow directions from lead plumbers and field supervisors

Required Qualifications:

Basic plumbing field experience preferred
OSHA-40 required for NYC field work
Must be able to work on the books
Must have basic hand tools appropriate for plumbing work
Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Must communicate clearly and follow direction
Must work neatly and keep job sites organized

Preferred Qualifications:

Staten Island resident with a valid driver’s license is strongly preferred, but not required
Basic pipe work, fixture installation, or maintenance experience is a plus
Basic blueprint reading is a plus
Own vehicle or reliable transportation is a plus
