We are a 5th generation family-owned business with a tight-knit team. We have been open for over 130 years! We are seeking another team member who is looking for a career! Now hiring a Plumbing/HVAC Sales Associate to work directly with our customers. Candidate will build relationships with contractor & builder customers as well as walk-in and telephone customers. Knowledge of product and experience in plumbing and HVAC a plus!
Our next team member will:
- Provide excellent customer service skills by going above and beyond customer expectations
- Work closely with other team members
- Maintain store and counter appearance while also controlling inventory
- Solve our customers' needs in plumbing and HVAC
- Create and foster new relationships with contractors, builders and customers.
- Drive sales activity with outbound phone calls to contractor accounts
- Stay knowledgeable on products and options in this ever-changing field
- Handle orders and returns of merchandise accurately
- Work with driver in warehouse for receiving and loading of orders.
Requirements:
- Some knowledge of plumbing and HVAC
- Trustworthy and friendly personality
- Problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of sales or counter sales
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license

Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
