OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic to assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to thread and properly run new black pipe
- Skilled in the use of all hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Must be experienced in new installations and new roughing
- Basic knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
- Knowledge of installing iron- black pipe, groove, copper, and cast-iron piping
- Effective communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience (Mechanic)
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic knowledge of building codes
- OSHA 10
- Hand tools
