We are seeking an energetic and strategic Plumbing Operations Manager to lead and optimize our plumbing services division. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the plumbing department to ensure efficient operations, high-quality workmanship, and strong customer satisfaction
- Drive revenue growth by bolstering sales performance, improving service opportunities, and supporting technicians in closing work
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to develop technicians' technical skills, communication, and professionalism
- Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and complex plumbing situations
- Improve team support systems, workflows, and scheduling to maximize productivity and response times
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local plumbing codes
- Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, growth, and customer-first service
- Collaborate with leadership on performance metrics, staffing needs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong technical plumbing knowledge with hands-on field experience
- North Carolina State Plumbing License preferred (not required)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Advanced communication skills - both verbal and written - with technicians, customers, and leadership
- Sales-minded approach with the ability to coach teams on service recommendations and customer education
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Passion for training, growing, and retaining high-performing employees
