Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Pool & Spa Depot as a Pool & Spa Service Technician! This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll ensure pools and spas are operating safely and efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience.This is a great opportunity for candidates with mechanical, maintenance, or installation backgrounds (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general construction, appliance repair, etc.) looking to grow in a specialized field. Key Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional customer service while performing pool and spa maintenance and repair
Conduct on-site inspections, assess water quality, and perform necessary maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, balancing chemicals, and troubleshooting equipment issues
Test installed equipment to ensure everything is in proper working order
Install new pool equipment and assist with pool openings and closings
Provide clear, friendly, and professional guidance to customers on equipment use and pool care
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage inventory efficiently
Work safely while lifting and handling equipment, following proper safety protocols
Arrive at customer homes with a professional appearance and respectful demeanor, representing the company positively
Qualifications1–3 years of hands-on experience in a related field such as:HVACPlumbingElectrical work
Equipment installation/repairGeneral maintenance or constructionOR willingness to learn with strong mechanical aptitude
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Customer service mindset with clear communication skills
Professional appearance and ability to work in customer-facing environments
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and handle equipment safely and work outdoors
Open availability to work weekends and overtime as needed during peak season.
