Pool Server: Full Time Seasonal (Leeward Windward)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

• Warmly welcome guests, inform them of specials, and answer questions. Take food and beverage orders, make recommendations, and upsell items.

• Accurately input orders into the POS system and prepare itemized checks, including tax. Present checks to guests, process payments, and provide change.

• Serve food and beverages, check back to ensure guest satisfaction, and address any issues with urgency and professionalism.

• Pre-bus tables throughout service, removing unused or dirty dishes, utensils, glasses, and trash, and transporting them to the kitchen.

• Complete assigned pre-shift and post-shift side work as directed by the manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Cash-handling experience preferred

• Customer service and/or food & beverage experience required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Serve Safe, TIPS, or other applicable state alcohol certification required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills

• Ability to be trained in cash handling and POS usage

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Strong menu knowledge and ability to upsell

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
