OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining various areas, including residential and commercial spaces.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors to ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining common areas.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
• Engage in residential painting projects when required, contributing to the upkeep of the facility's aesthetic appeal.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
