Post Closing 3rd Party Team Lead
Position Overview:
Benchmark strives to maintain Excellence, which includes efficiency and effectiveness, as a pillar of our Core Values. The Post-Closing 3rd Party Team Lead supports the oversight of the day-to-day workflow of the Company’s 3rd party post-closing vendors to ensure smooth operations for file ingestion and indexing, collateral shipping, trailing documents, and loan delivery. This role also serves as a Post Closing Shipper supporting physical packages at the home office.
Ideal candidates for this position will thrive managing multiple tasks simultaneously, have proven communication skills, and work well with strict deadlines.
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Oversee the work assignments of off-shore teams to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
- Serve as the point of contact for escalated and complex loan issues.
- Organize loans and review documents for discrepancies.
- Identify process improvements within home office and off-shore workflows and make recommendations to leadership.
- Serve as the backup for tracking and ship collateral documents to warehouse banks and investors.
- Deliver loan documents to investors within timelines established by secondary marketing to prevent market adjustments.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of mortgage experience required.
- Experience with Encompass preferred.
Education / Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
