We are Claybourne, one of the fastest growing cannabis flower and pre roll brands in California, is seeking a skilled and responsible Machine Operator to join our team and manage our automatic cannabis post harvest production equipment. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the machine, producing high-quality cannabis prerolls, and meeting production goals. This position requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor automatic cannabis post harvest production machines to ensure smooth and efficient production. Set up, adjust, and calibrate machine settings as necessary to achieve desired output quality and quantity.

Conduct routine inspections of the machine to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions promptly.

Monitor flower production process to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the machine, equipment, and surrounding areas.

Perform regular maintenance on the machine and assist with troubleshooting as needed.

Accurately record production data, including batch records and quality control information.

Assist with the packaging and labeling of finished products. Follow all safety protocols and ensure the safe handling of cannabis materials and products.

Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a positive working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing or cannabis-related industry.
  • Knowledge of and experience with automated production machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 50 pounds).
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance is a plus.
  • Dust filtering face masks that may require fitting, eye protection, gloves, and lab coat PPE are mandatory.
  • Must pass pre-employment medical evaluation.

Working Conditions:

  • This role may involve standing for extended periods, working in a production environment, and exposure to cannabis materials.
  • Must be willing to work in accordance with the established production schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
  • Eligible for health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance) within 60 days of start date.
  • 401K including company match after 90 days of employment.
