About us:
Alamo NEX Construction, LLC is a part of the Ferrovial Group in Texas. In 2021, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) selected Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction Texas, LLC and DBW, LLC (both Ferrovial Group subsidiaries), to complete the Interstate 35 (I-35) NEX Central Project. This project is a $1.5 billion Texas Design-Build (DB) project through the cities of San Antonio, Live Oak, Selma, and Schertz that will consist of non-tolled improvements along I-35, I-140, and Loop 1604. The proposed improvements will include the addition of elevated managed lanes to I-35, addition of 4 connector bridges at the I-35/I-410 North interchange, addition of 4 connector bridges at the I-35/Loop 1604 interchange, and widening of Loop 1604 in Bexar and Guadalupe Counties.Job Description:

Description:
The position ofPost-tensioning Technicianwill performpost-tensioningfunctionsforEquipmentdepartmentofAlamo NEX Construction LLC of theI35 NEXproject.
DutiesandResponsibilities:
Ensurecontrols are established and followed.
Participates in pre-project and pre-task planning activities then communicates withfield crews.
Motivatesteam members to work together to accomplish post-tensioning tasks, coordinate work activities with other construction project activities and assign work to employees.
Ensurecrews are operating all tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner.
Providestraining and assistance to crews in the performance ofpost-tensioningwork-related tasks.
Completesessential paperwork in a clear and accurate manner
Providessafetyleadership.
Control of materials and equipment.
Supervise the installation of post-tensioning materials
Tendon installation of Tecpresa PT system.
Stressing of Tepcresa PT system tendons and bars.
Grout trials of the PT tendons.
Grout and seal duct vents & grout caps.
Post grout inspection.
Quality assurance of the deliverables production in the project.
Any other reasonable request deemed necessary by management.
Equipment maintenance and gauge calibrations
Qualifications:
2-4 years ofwork experiencein similar documentcontrolpositionspreferred.
Level-2Multistrand and Grouted PT Specialist (PTI)
ASBI Certified Grouting Technician
Mustpossess excellent organizationandcommunicationskills.
Organizational Relationships:
Assists and works in conjunction with theShared Resources department andconstructiondepartments as needed.
Work Environment
The job is mostly performedoutdoors.
Work is usually completed during night shift.
