Powder CoaterPay: $22.00 per hourLocation: Tulsa, OK 74116Shift: 2: 30 PM 1: 00 AM | Monday ThursdayTraining: 1st Shift | 6: 00 AM 2: 30 PMJob Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewThe Powder Coater is responsible for preparing, coating, curing, and inspecting metal parts using powder coating processes. This Powder Coater role ensures all parts meet quality standards, production timelines, and safety requirements. The ideal Powder Coater is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in industrial coating environments.Required Experience & Skills Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred Knowledge of powder coating equipment, materials, and processes Ability to read and follow work orders and specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to safety procedures and PPE compliance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyEssential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare parts by cleaning, sanding, masking, and hanging materials Operate powder coating equipment including spray guns, booths, and ovens Apply coatings evenly to meet thickness and finish requirements Inspect finished parts for defects, coverage, and consistency Cure coated parts according to temperature and cycle specifications Perform color changes, equipment cleaning, and routine maintenance Follow blueprints, work orders, and production schedules Maintain accurate production records and documentation Keep work area clean and organized following 5S standards Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading Follow all safety procedures and company policiesWork Environment Manufacturing/paint shop environment Exposure to dust, fumes, heat, and industrial equipment Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and repetitive motion PPE required at all timesJobID124501
