Power & Safety: Electrical Engineer Associate - Intern

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER INTERN

The Electrical Design Internship is a student-level position that focuses on learning and serves as an applied design resource. The internship offers experience within a multi-disciplined team and requires the acquisition of electrical design skills and knowledge.

The responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer Intern include, but are not limited to:

Assisting in creating designs, including electrical design, instrumentation and process drawings, MCC elevations, one-lines, facility site plans, lighting plans and equipment selection.
Working with Electrical Engineers on drawing packages in AutoCAD Electrical.
Performing project tasks under direct supervision while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Monitoring personal quality measures to ensure they are being met.
Utilizing, supporting, and enhancing ESCO's standards and best practices.
Understanding and following all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by ESCO and clients.

Intern candidates should have:

Enrollment in or completion of an associate or bachelor's degree program in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college, technical school, or university.

Preferred:

Education or training in electrical engineering and design.
Education or training in electrical fundamentals such as voltage, current, and resistance.
Education or training in the use of AutoCAD Electrical.
