The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputed hospital in beautiful Helena, MT and we are looking for a Practice Supervisor (RN) who is a hands-on leader, enjoys mentoring teams, improving workflows, and making a direct impact on patient care every day.

Why This Role Matters

As a Practice Supervisor, you’ll lead from the front—supporting staff, guiding daily clinic operations, and stepping in wherever needed to keep patient care running smoothly. This is more than a supervisory position; it’s an opportunity to build strong teams, improve patient flow, and create a positive, collaborative culture.

If you thrive in an active environment, enjoy coaching others, and value patient-centered care, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support daily clinic operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care
  • Provide real-time coaching, mentoring, and support to clinical and patient access staff
  • Serve as a visible, approachable resource for staff, patients, and providers
  • Help coordinate staffing assignments and workflow priorities throughout the day
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain smooth patient flow
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of new and existing team members
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Practice Manager to reinforce workflows, support staff development, and oversee daily operations without responsibility for budgeting or long-term strategic planning

Hands-On Patient Care

Approximately 40–50% of this role involves direct and indirect patient care responsibilities, including:

  • Rooming patients
  • Assisting with triage
  • Supporting clinical coverage during peak times
  • Modeling expected standards, excellence in patient care and teamwork

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience overseeing clinic or unit operations
  • Demonstrates growing leadership capabilities and continued professional development

What Makes You Successful

You are someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and builds trust with patients and coworkers
  • Leads with integrity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Enjoys problem-solving and managing multiple priorities
  • Creates a positive, respectful team environment
  • Supports change and continuous improvement
  • Values collaboration across interdisciplinary teams
  • Is passionate about developing and mentoring others
  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and open communication along with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Consistently achieves and sustains excellence in departmental Core Measures performance.
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Provides exceptional service to patients, coworkers, physicians, the community, and the organization while consistently exceeding expectations.

If you are looking for an opportunity to create exceptional patient and employee experience in a fast-paced clinical environment while being part of a mission-driven organization that values compassion, teamwork, and excellence in care, we encourage you to apply today !
