Pre-Litigation Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal- Houston, TX A high-profile plaintiff personal injury law firm in Houston seeks a bilingual pre-litigation paralegal/legal assistant to be a part of the team working for the pre-litigation department. Candidates must be bilingual Spanish and have at least 4+ years of experience working at a personal injury law firm in Texas.Responsibilities:
- Manage pre-litigation cases from intake through settlement negotiations or filing of suit
- Request, track, and organize medical records, billing documents, and supporting case materials
- Draft settlement brochures, demand packages, and correspondence to insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
- Communicate with clients, insurance representatives, attorneys, and internal staff via phone and in person
- Coordinate inspections of vehicles, accident scenes, and workplaces during the pre-suit phase
- Maintain accurate and organized physical and electronic case files
- Monitor case calendars, deadlines, and pre-litigation timelines
- Prepare materials and binders for depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed
