Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time
Location: Newark, DE
A well-established ambulatory surgery center in Newark is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing clinical team. This is a full-time opportunity in a supportive, positive environment with approachable leadership and a strong team culture.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- 1+ year of Pre-Op,PACU, or ambulatory surgery experience
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures in the Pre-Op unit
- Monitor and care for patients during post-anesthesia recovery (PACU)
- Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety protocols
