Precast Drafter

Minneapolis, MN - Remote | Direct or Contract Hire| 26.00 - 38.00/hr

Do you have 2+ years of experience creating precast drawings for commercial building projects?

Our client, a Structural Consulting Engineering firm located in the Twin Cities, has an immediate need for an experienced Precast Drafter to join their team. With oversight from a Senior Drafter or Engineer, you will produce detailed precast CAD drawings using Revit and Edge.

* This is a remote work opportunity with the expectation of working 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Precast Drafter Responsibilities:

Produce precast drawings for all phases of a project from concept to completion.
Produce production and erection drawings, including shop drawings from architectural and structural drawings
Will work alongside a Structural Engineer on precast drawings for commercial building projects
Coordination with customers throughout projects

Precast Drafter Requirements:

Associate's Degree, Architectural or Engineering Technology required
2+ years of precast concrete drafting experience is required.
Proficiency in Revit, Edge is preferred
Strong communication and organization skills
Ability to work independently on projects
Must be available to be on-site for in-person training
