Commercial Construction EstimatorOur client is one of Atlanta's most respected commercial general contractors, with a longstanding reputation for delivering complex construction projects across the Southeast. Known for its strong client relationships, repeat business, and commitment to quality, the company continues to rank among the area's premier construction firms and offers employees the opportunity to work on landmark developments with an exceptional team.Job DescriptionPrepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and GMP estimates
Develop quantity takeoffs and detailed pricing analyses
Review plans, specifications, and project requirements
Assemble complete project budgets and estimate summaries
Support value engineering initiatives and cost-saving recommendations
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
Analyze bid packages for scope coverage and pricing accuracy
Develop subcontractor scopes and leveling sheets
Maintain relationships with key trade partners
Participate in preconstruction meetings with owners, architects, and consultants
Provide cost guidance throughout the design process
Assist with feasibility studies and budget validation
Support negotiated and competitive procurement efforts
Monitor labor and material cost trends
Maintain historical cost databases

Experience estimating multifamily construction projects valued at least $40MStrong understanding of commercial construction means and methods
Experience preparing conceptual and detailed estimates
Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and scope documents
Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software
Detail-oriented and analytical
Strong communicator and relationship builder
Organized and deadline-drivenCollaborative team player
Proactive problem solver with a commercial mindset
