Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preconstruction phase for multiple commercial projects from conceptual design through GMP or lump-sum pricingDevelop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and value engineering optionsCoordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, and internal operations teams to align scope, schedule, and costOversee constructability reviews, risk assessments, and design development milestonesPrepare and manage bid packages; lead subcontractor outreach, evaluation, and levelingCollaborate with project teams to ensure a seamless handoff from preconstruction to constructionSupport schedule development in coordination with project management and field leadershipProvide clear, professional presentations to clients and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within commercial constructionProven experience leading preconstruction efforts on mid-to-large scale projectsStrong understanding of construction means and methodsAbility to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specificationsExperience working with subcontractors across multiple tradesProficiency with estimating and project management software (specific platforms not required)Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
