Job DetailsThe Preconstruction Manager will lead estimating and preconstruction efforts from early concept through GMP, supporting both negotiated and hard-bid work. This role partners closely with operations and business development to ensure accurate pricing, risk management, and smooth project handoff.Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle preconstruction and estimating efforts
• Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates
• Manage subcontractor outreach, scope review, and leveling
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews
• Collaborate with operations during project transition
• Support client presentations and preconstruction meetings

Desired Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in preconstruction and/or estimating
• Background with a general contractor or construction manager
• Experience across commercial, industrial, healthcare, or institutional projects
• Strong understanding of conceptual estimating and GMP development
• Ability to lead, communicate, and build trust with internal teams and trade partners
