Job Overview

  • Title: Prep & Assembly Technician (Entry Level)
  • Employer: Circuit Board Medics is family-owned, ~100 employees, one location
  • Location: Greenville, SC 29615 (on-site, temperature-controlled production floor + warehouse & garage)
  • Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (7 AM – 4 PM)
  • Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour (hourly, full-time)

Why this Feels Different (culture and perks you actually feel)

  • Friendly, wholesome environment: Family-owned, one location, people know your name and notice your effort.
  • Predictable hours: 7 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday. No second shift. No rotating schedules. (Overtime of 3–7 hours per week is common and will be compensated accordingly.)
  • Hands-on, fast-paced work: You’re up, moving, and using tools and machines all day.
  • A key role on the team: Prep & Assembly supports the entire production team pre- and post-repair, so every product line depends on your work.
  • Great training ground: We train you from the ground up on hand tools, power tools, and our semi-automated machines—no production experience required.
  • Warm, values-driven place: We live our vision of “Care. Serve. Restore.” and our core values of People, Excellence, and Ownership regularly, so it doesn’t feel like other manufacturing environments.

What You’ll Do (hands-on work)

  • Open and prepare production orders and deliver them to the proper teams for repair.
  • Sandblast and polish parts (with proper PPE provided).
  • Work with cleaning chemicals (with proper PPE provided).
  • Clean and reassemble repaired modules to meet our “better than new” standards.
  • Partner with other teams to make sure orders go out on time.
  • Follow proper escalation procedures and clear quality standards.

No Production Experience?

That’s okay! We’ll train you on the job, as long as you’re willing to work hard and learn. Some prior work history is strongly preferred—any hands-on, production, warehouse, restaurant, retail, or similar role counts.

What We’re Looking For (qualifications & fit)

  • Entry level: Some work history is strongly preferred.
  • Reliability: On-time, consistent attendance is a must. Your team should be able to count on you every day.
  • On your feet: Able to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods.
  • Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate those details effectively.
  • Comfortable with tools: Comfortable using a box cutter/blade regularly and other common hand tools.
  • Basic computer skills: Able to log information and notate clear, helpful repair notes.

What Will Make You Fit In?

  • Curious, with a desire to understand how things work.
  • A strong sense of urgency and pride in your work.
  • Showing ownership and caring about doing it right.
  • Humility to ask clarifying questions—paired with confidence in your skills.
  • Receptive to feedback and always learning.
  • Faithful in the details and consistent in your habits.
  • Efficient, but patient when the work calls for it.
  • Enjoy a strong sense of community and working as part of a team.
