We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Preschool Cook to join our team. This vital role focuses on preparing nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of our students, contributing to their overall development.Benefits & Compensation:- Competitive salary ($16-$18 per hour)- Paid time off- Training & development opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook healthy meals and snacks for preschool children, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and nutritional standards.- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.- Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences of children.- Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary to keep the kitchen well-stocked.- Assist in planning menus that promote healthy eating habits among young children.- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety.- Willing and able to drive the school van.Required Qualifications:- Experience in a cooking or food preparation role, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.- Ability to work a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.- Reliable transportation to and from work.Preferred Qualifications:- Previous experience working in a preschool or similar environment.- A commitment to stability and long-term employment.Work Environment:The work environment is dynamic and engaging, centered around the needs of young children. The Preschool Cook will work in a kitchen setting that prioritizes health and safety while fostering a collaborative atmosphere with staff and educators to create a positive experience for all students.
