Preschool Teacher (Early Childhood Education)

Location: The Learning Experience- Sterling, VA

Pay: $19-$21 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (7:45 AM-4:45 PM or 8:30 AM-5:30 PM)

The Learning Experience- Sterling is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of young learners in a structured, engaging early childhood environment. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting school readiness, social development, and hands-on learning.

Our preschool program focuses on building confidence, independence, and foundational academic skills through play-based instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily preschool classroom activities in a safe and nurturing environment

• Implement engaging lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum

• Support early literacy, math, and problem-solving skills

• Maintain structured routines and positive classroom management

• Observe and support children's developmental progress

• Communicate regularly with families about milestones and classroom activities

• Maintain classroom organization and follow all Virginia licensing standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Childcare, daycare, or preschool experience required

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices preferred

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and background requirements

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
