Preschool Teacher- Twos Classroom

Location: The Learning Experience- East Brunswick, NJ

Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Preschool Teacher- Twos Classroom

The Learning Experience- East Brunswick is seeking a dependable and engaging Preschool Teacher to lead our Twos Classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting language development, social-emotional growth, emerging independence, and school readiness during this important stage of early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom of 2-year-old children in a safe, nurturing learning environment

• Implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities using the L.E.A.P. curriculum

• Support language development, social-emotional growth, and early problem-solving skills

• Guide daily classroom routines including toileting readiness, meals, transitions, and rest time

• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators

• Maintain an organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment

• Communicate regularly with families regarding milestones, progress, and daily activities

• Partner with assistant teachers to ensure classroom consistency and success

• Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Prior childcare, daycare, preschool, or toddler classroom experience required

• CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred

• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Passion for supporting young children's growth and development

• Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
