CNC Press Brake Machine Operator 1st Shift | 4-Day Work WeekLocation: Grand Island, NE Pay: $20.00/hourSchedule: Monday Thursday, 6: 00 AM 4: 30 PM (1st Shift)(Optional 2nd Shift: 4: 30 PM 3: 00 AM)Build Your Career in ManufacturingWe re looking for a dependable CNC Press Brake Machine Operator to join our client's team in Grand Island. If you take pride in precision, enjoy hands-on work, and want a steady schedule with long weekends, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive manufacturing environment.What You ll DoAs a key part of our production team, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC press brake and punch press equipment
- Follow blueprints, work orders, and instructions to produce quality parts
- Perform machine start-up and shutdown procedures
- Inspect parts for accuracy, identify defects, and make adjustments
- Use grinders and abrasives to meet finishing requirements
- Safely operate cranes, magnets, hooks, and other material handling equipment
- Use fixtures and templates to ensure consistency and precision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Support additional production tasks as needed
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to complete shop and forming assessments within the first week
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to read and write in English for documentation
- Experience with press brake or metal forming is a plus, but we re willing to train the right candidate
