Job Description

Overview

We're hiring Press Brake Operators for our architectural metal fabrication shop in Nashville.

You'll set up and run CNC press brakes — Trumpf and Safan-Darley — forming metal details and architectural products. Work comes off mechanical drawings with tight angle and dimension tolerances. Most jobs are custom rather than repeat production runs, so setups change often and you inspect your own parts before they leave the station.

Profiles encouraged to apply: experienced CNC press brake operators, precision sheet metal fabricators, machine operators with setup experience, and tradespeople with strong mechanical and machine operation backgrounds.

Why Join Us

  • Three-day weekends: Four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday.
  • Unlimited optional overtime: Consistent overtime can push earnings to $60 - $70k

Responsibilities

  • Setups: Set up CNC press brakes for each new part.
  • Machine Operation: Run the brake to hold specified angles and dimensions.
  • Blueprint Reading: Work from mechanical drawings and part tolerances.
  • Program Handling: Upload, run, and adjust programs at the controller.
  • Inspection: Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Material Handling: Load raw material using forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Packaging: Package finished parts to customer-specific requirements.
