The Opportunity:As a Price Intelligence Product Architect, you will play a key role in advancing CACI’s enterprise pricing intelligence capabilities. In this position, you will design and develop scalable, data-driven solutions that support price strategy. You will lead the architecture, development, and deployment of price intelligence products, visualizations, and self-service tools that enhance decision-making for capture teams and business leaders. This role blends hands-on technical development with a strong understanding of government contracting pricing practices. You will work closely with Price Strategy, Digital Transformation, and business partners to implement scalable solutions that expand access to actionable price intelligence and improve efficiency. Your work will establish repeatable tools and frameworks that strengthen competitive insight and enable teams to focus on high-value strategic pursuits.

Responsibilities:

Product Architecture and Development:

  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and sustainment of price intelligence tools, dashboards, and products
  • Architect and implement automated data pipelines that integrate pricing trends into unified analytical environments
  • Build interactive visualizations, UI-lite interfaces, and decision-support applications using Python, SQL, and cloud-enabled frameworks
  • Translating pricing strategy needs to scalable product features, reusable components, and analytical capabilities

Data Engineering and Modeling:

  • Structure and model complex datasets into scalable, reusable data assets supporting trend analysis and competitive assessments
  • Identify, gather, and integrate relevant data sources to build high-quality, comprehensive datasets
  • Develop and deploy data models, statistical frameworks, and predictive tools to evaluate cost structures, competitor behaviors, and market dynamics
  • Ensure data quality, governance, automation, and documentation across all pricing intelligence systems
  • Reverse-engineer existing analytical methods and convert them into automated, repeatable workflows

Enablement and Collaboration:

  • Develop self-service analytical tools that enable teams to conduct competitive analysis independently and consistently
  • Institutionalize trend analysis and pricing behavior patterns to inform future bid strategy
  • Partner with PTW, price strategy, estimating, and capture teams to embed analytic outputs into pursuit workflows and strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with Digital Transformation to align architecture, cloud deployment, and data engineering approaches with enterprise standards
  • Champion a culture of data-driven pricing, mentoring analysts and users to leverage new tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in the US Government contracting spanning technical product development and pricing, PTW, or cost/price analysis for large complex pursuits
  • Proven experience building production-grade tools, analytics, data models, APIs, and interactive visualizations
  • Expert proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering, modeling, and application development
  • Experience architecting and deploying data products within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with API development
  • Familiarity with UI-lite development frameworks (Dash, Streamlit, or similar) and modern visualization libraries
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition models, contract types, and competitive cost structures
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, influence decision-makers, and deliver scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical outputs to business insights
  • Local candidate to Reston, VA, preferred for hybrid work

Desired:

  • Experience implementing AI/ML-enabled forecasting, rate modeling, or competitive analysis tools
  • Prior experience developing enterprise analytics platforms or pricing modernization initiatives
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
