Position SummaryThe Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive outpatient medical care to adult and/or pediatric patients, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role emphasizes continuity of care, patient-centered practice, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, wellness visits, and routine physical examinations
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine
Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines
Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health efforts
Adhere to all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program
Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active, unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain licensure)
DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
