Job Description

At PCHC, our Primary Care Team RNs are embedded right in the clinic, working side-by-side with providers and care teams to deliver truly connected, patient-centered care. This is a dayside role with nights and weekends off, giving you the balance to do meaningful work and have time for life outside of it. You'll practice at the top of your license in an innovative care model focused on improving access, removing barriers, and creating a seamless patient experience. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Schedule may be flexible as (4) 10-hr shifts or (5) 8-hr shifts

Education and Experience:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maine, or the ability to achieve licensure in the State of Maine within a year of date of hire.
  • At least 3 years' nursing experience in inpatient, home health or hospice, and/or primary care practice experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment preferred.
  • Having a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required. Any concerns raised by the results of a driving record check will be subject to an individualized review to determine whether the infraction is relevant to the individual's ability to perform the responsibilities of the position, in accordance with PCHC's Automobile Safety and Background Check policy.
  • Will have up-to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.
