Job Description
Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer
Location: Mounds View, MN (Onsite)Duration: 24 MonthsJob ID: 24535Pay: $60–65/hr (W2)
Key Skills (Must Have)
- Electrical Hardware Design: PCB design, circuit modeling, testing, debugging
- Hardware Validation: Test planning, execution, data analysis, documentation (regulated environment preferred)
- AI Tools in Engineering: Automation, scripting, or AI-enabled workflows (design/test/analysis)
Responsibilities
- Perform hardware testing, characterization, debugging, and integration
- Lead verification & validation (V&V): test planning, execution, reporting
- Apply AI/automation tools to improve engineering workflows
- Design and develop PCBAs, embedded hardware, and electrical systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Systems, SW, QA, Manufacturing, Regulatory)
Requirements
- 3+ years in electrical hardware engineering (design, testing, integration)
- 1+ year with AI tools / automation / scripting (preferred)
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, etc.)
- Knowledge of regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 60601 – preferred)
