Since inception, ARCHIMED has been a committed impact investor, both directly and through its EURÊKA Foundation.

THE TEAM

An international team (French, British, German, Polish, Canadian, US, Japanese) with complementary backgrounds across investment, medical, scientific, strategic and operational disciplines.

Alumni of INSEAD, Berkeley, Georgetown, Bocconi, HEC Paris, École des Ponts ParisTech, ESSEC, Imperial College and Dartmouth, among others.

Professional backgrounds spanning Private Equity (3i, Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings, Capiton, Partners Group), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC) and Industry (Biotronik, Cerba, pharmacy and veterinary).

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations and working in close partnership with the firm's Partners and senior leadership, the Principal of Investor Relations will serve as a senior leader of the IR function with shared accountability for the firm's global capital formation strategy and LP franchise. This is a Partner-track role with significant external visibility, senior internal influence and direct responsibility for the growth and institutionalization of ARCHIMED's investor base.

The Principal will help shape the forward trajectory of the firm's capital base across flagship funds, co-investment vehicles, GP-led secondaries and new product initiatives, and will act as a primary relationship owner for the firm's most strategic LPs.

CAPITAL FORMATION & STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

Partner with the Head of IR and firm leadership to define and execute the firm's multi-year capital formation strategy, including fund architecture, investor segmentation, geographic prioritization and new product development.

Hold direct accountability for fundraising outcomes across assigned channels and regions, including pipeline development, LP conversion and commitment sizing against stated targets.

Lead the firm's positioning and narrative to the global LP community, ensuring a consistent, differentiated and compelling articulation of strategy, performance, healthcare thesis and impact track record.

Own the firm's most strategic LP relationships globally, including sovereign wealth funds, major public pensions, global insurers, top-tier endowments and foundations, and lead consultants. Serve as a trusted senior counterpart to CIOs, heads of PE and investment committees.

Identify, cultivate and convert new pools of capital, including untapped geographies, new LP types and new product formats, to support the firm's long-term AUM growth and platform expansion.

Serve as a senior external spokesperson for ARCHIMED at major industry conferences, LP advisory boards and public forums, and represent the firm in the most sensitive LP conversations.

IR FUNCTION LEADERSHIP

Co-lead the IR function alongside the Head of IR, with shared accountability for team structure, talent development, performance management and succession planning across the global IR organization.

Set and elevate the standards for LP reporting, communications, servicing and engagement, ensuring the IR platform operates at the level expected by the world's most sophisticated institutional investors.

Oversee the firm's LP servicing infrastructure including capital calls, distributions, DDQ management, ODD responses, secondary transfers, side letter administration and bespoke LP workstreams.

Lead the strategic design and delivery of the Investor AGM and other flagship LP events, ensuring they serve as a genuine driver of LP engagement and franchise strength.

Mentor and sponsor the development of Directors, Associate Directors and junior IR team members, and play an active role in recruiting senior IR talent as the platform scales.

CO-INVESTMENTS, GP-LED SECONDARIES & STRATEGIC CAPITAL

Lead the strategic direction and execution of the firm's co-investment program, partnering with deal teams to syndicate opportunities efficiently, build deep co-invest partnerships with LPs and optimize terms.

Drive the structuring and execution of GP-led secondaries, continuation vehicles, separately managed accounts and other bespoke capital solutions, working alongside Partners, deal teams, secondary advisors and legal counsel.

Help shape the evolution of ARCHIMED's fund platform, including the incubation and launch of adjacent strategies and new product lines where strategically accretive.

Requirements

  • 12 to 18 years of relevant experience, with a strong track record in senior investor relations, capital formation or LP coverage roles within private equity, alternative asset management or top-tier placement.
  • Established and directly transferable network of senior institutional LP relationships across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with demonstrated ability to independently originate, advance and close significant LP commitments.
  • Demonstrated track record of contributing to successful fundraises at scale (multi-billion euro or dollar funds), ideally including flagship funds, co-investment vehicles and GP-led transactions.
  • Sophisticated financial acumen. Deep fluency with fund structuring, LPA terms, economics, performance attribution, portfolio analytics and the quantitative and qualitative diligence expectations of the most sophisticated LPs.
  • Advanced knowledge of market practice, product innovation, fund structuring alternatives and the competitive dynamics of the global PE landscape. Healthcare sector credibility a strong plus.
  • Exceptional executive communicator and external presence. Able to hold a room of senior LP decision makers and translate complex investment theses, healthcare dynamics and deal structures into sharp, credible narratives.
  • Proven leader and team builder with experience managing, mentoring and developing IR professionals, and shaping how an IR function operates and scales.
  • Commercial, entrepreneurial and partnership-minded. Takes ownership of outcomes, moves with pace and brings a genuine builder's orientation to the growth of the firm.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Fluency with institutional IR CRM platforms (Dynamo, Backstop, Altvia or similar).
  • Higher education degree in finance, economics or business administration. CFA or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Embodies and reinforces ARCHIMED's cultural values of inclusion, meritocracy, partnership, accountability, client focus and trust.
