This role will define the strategy, operating model, governance, measurement, and partnership approach for a scalable influencer function in a trusted, regulated healthcare environment. Success requires strategic judgment, cultural fluency, relationship leadership, operational rigor, and a willingness to build the capability from the ground up.

Core Responsibilities

  • Set the enterprise vision, strategy, and roadmap for influencer marketing across The Cigna Group, Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth, and related brands.
  • Build a scalable Center of Excellence with clear governance, standards, workflows, risk controls, and best practices.
  • Develop a high-quality ecosystem of creators, advocates, ambassadors, thought leaders, agencies, and strategic partners to drive brand content and content and storytelling from creator accounts.
  • Translate business, brand, and reputation goals into authentic, platform-native creator programs with measurable impact.
  • Partner across brand, communications, social, marketing, paid media, legal, compliance, privacy, and business teams to recommend influencer marketing best practices into priority initiatives.
  • Establish measurement, executive reporting, and performance standards that connect influencer activity to audience, reputation, and business outcomes.
  • Guide agency, platform, vendor, budget, and investment decisions needed to scale the capability responsibly.
  • Serve as the enterprise expert on creator culture, influencer trends, emerging platforms, brand safety, disclosure, and reputation risk.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and social media, with demonstrated success building or scaling programs for major brands or agencies.
  • Deep understanding of creator ecosystems, social platforms, content strategy, partnership models, and paid amplification.
  • Proven ability to develop strategy, governance, operating models, measurement frameworks, and executive-ready recommendations in complex organizations.
  • Strong track record managing agencies, partners, platforms, budgets, performance expectations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and storytelling skills, including experience advising senior leaders and aligning teams around performance.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, with a track record of building highly engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Experience in regulated industries preferred.
  • Ability to work from a Cigna Group office 3 days a week.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
