Weare seeking aPrincipal Program Manager(Patient Journey Navigator),that is primarily responsible for managing each patient journey from ICF1 through randomization and treatment until the first scan for primary end point in our Phase 3 trial. This dynamic role requires an outstanding ability to manage patient cases by coordinating between medical professionals at sites andImmaticscross-functional teams to progress patients quickly and efficiently through the vein-to-vein (V2V) journey.

SalaryRange:$160,000 to $175,000

WhatYou’llDo:

As a Principal Program Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our clinical operations program management team:

  • Learn the clinical trial protocol (all versions) and pass the Patient Journey Navigator QC check.

  • Spearhead the touchpoint calls with the site staff as and when scheduled, take meeting minutes and organize the patient journey in real time. Followup with the site onthe nextsteps toexpediterandomizations.

  • Align internally with stakeholders (Clinical Operations, Patient Journey Leader, Clinical Development, Clinical Sciences, Global Patient Supply, Project Management, GMP Operations, Quality Control, Quality Assurance) before providing the sites with guidance. 

  • Follow the blueprint patient journey to enable randomizations as quickly as possible for patients that are eligible and pass VA eligibility.

  • Design the patient journey in real time during the touchpoint call for each patient depending on their unique needs and site constraints.

  • Independently manage patient V2V workflows to achieve our operational excellence goals of rapid movement pre and post randomizations above the industry benchmark.

  • Align with the patient journey lead on MVR slots, randomizationdatesand manufacturing start dates.

  • Provide guidance to the site on EDC sections that must be completed prior torandomization. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams for OutofSpecifications communication.

  • Be a trusted and knowledgeable contact that is “nearly always available” for the site's stakeholders to enhance theImmaticsexperience. Ability to answer questions afterhours.

RequiredExperienceandEducation:

  • At least master's degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, health or a comparable education.  

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in clinical program management, healthcare administration, GPS, CMC Cell therapy, Med. Affairs or related field (including experience in late-stage clinical programs  

  • Knowledge in immunology, oncology 

  • Expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and change management  

  • Strong operational leadership skills, communication, presentation and business partnering ability  

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships  

  • Ability to analyze complex business issues and opportunities

PreferredExperienceandEducation:

  • Clinical Operations, GPS, Project Management, CMC Cell therapy or Medical Affairs background would be preferred

  • Proficiency in project management according to industry standard and hands-on experience in using project management tools and software.  

  • Knowledge in cell and gene therapy

Work Environment:

This is a sedentary position (at least 50% oftime) in a typical office environment. There may be frequent interruptions with moderate noise levels and frequent use of printers, copiers, scanners,computersand other office equipment.Abilityto sit, talk, walk,hearand communicate verbally and in writing is. Occasional lifting of objects up to 25lbsis expected.   

Travel Requirements:

  • Remote:Regular travel to Houston or designated sites for PI engagement may be(approximately 10 trips per year).

  • Houston-based:Limited travel to sites for PI engagement may be(approximately 3 trips per year).

Qualified candidates will participate in a structured interview process, which includes:

  • An initial recruiter phone screen (conducted via video)

  • A recruiter-facilitated introduction and interview with the hiring leader and key stakeholders (via video)

  • A final-stage interview, which may include an in-person meeting at our U.S. Headquarters in Houston, TX

Physical demands:

  • Hearing– the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds one-on-one, group or conference, telephone, and other sounds.

  • Lifting-raising or lowering an object (up to 25lbs) from one level to another (includes upward pulling). Carrying is to transport an object – usually by holding it in the hands or armsbutmay occur on the shoulder.

  • Near Visual Acuity– clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (working with small objects, reading small print, including the use of computers). 

  • Pushing- Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the object.

  • Pulling- Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force. 

  • Sittingremainingin a sitting position for at least 50% of the time.

  • Standing/Walking-remain on one's feet in an upright position at a workstation. 

  • Stoopingoccasional bendingthe body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist - requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
